Madrid Airport Transfer To Aranjuez

This page details how to arrange a Madrid airport transfer via train or bus to Aranjuez.

First you have to get to the Atocha Renfe station via the metro system.

metroMetro: Nuevos Ministerios (Pink Line, L8)
Take line 8 from the airport and change at Nuevos Ministerios for line 10 (in the direction of Puerta del Sur).
metroMetro: Tribunal (Dark Blue Line, L10) Then change from line 10 to line 1 at Tribunal station.
metroMetro: Atocha Renfe (Light Blue Line, L1)
After 6 stops you will be at the Atocha renfe station. Here you can take the Cercanías suburban train to Aranjuez, which runs on line C3.

Aranjuez is the 10th stop and the journey takes three quarters of an hour. Trains start at about 05:36 and run until about 00:01. Official timetable

A return ticket for a journey from Atocha to Aranjuez is 10.00 euros. The journey from the airport to Atocha station is 1.25 euro each way.


Madrid Airport Transfer To Aranjuez By Bus

You can also take one of the suburban buses to Aranjuez from the Estación Sur de Autobuses.
metroMetro: Nuevos Ministerios (Pink Line, Line 8)
metroMetro: Méndez Alvaro (Grey Line, L6)
Firstly take metro line 8 from the airport to Nuevos Ministerios station, then change onto line 6 (the circular line) and get off at Méndez Alvaro, where you will find the bus station.

There are 3 buses to Aranjuez:
423 and 423a run by AISA. Tel: (0034) 90 219 8788
419 run by SAMAR. Tel: (0034) 90 225 7025

The 419 starts from about 6:45 until approximately 22:50 on weekdays, with a slightly reduced timetable at weekends. Please note that Aranjuez is not the last stop! After leaving the Estacion Sur, the bus stops only at Seseña before reaching Aranjuez. The journey time is approximately 35 minutes, and a ticket costs 3.03 euros each way.

The 423 runs from approximately 06:30 until 23:00 on weekdays, with a reduced service at weekends and fiesta days. The journey to Aranjuez is around one hour and the bus stops at the following points:

Plaza de Legazpi, Hospital Doce de Octubre, Avenida de Andalucia, Pol. Ind. Valmor, Seseña Nuevo, Aranjuez.

A ticket costs 3.30 euros each way.
