The Real Madrid jersey is one of the most eye-catching in the world of football. The team have always played at home in white, earning themselves the nickname of the ‘merengues’ or meringues in English.

The jersey features the adidas logo in the bottom corner in black, and the team´s crest on the chest in grey. It is short sleeved and has the infamous black adidas stripes down the sleeves.

The away kit for the team consists of a dark blue jersey, with Siemens across the chest.

You can also find the Real Madrid jersey in the official shop which is situated in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, alongside all other parts of the official team kit. There is another official outlet store in the centre of Madrid, between Puerta del Sol and Gran Via. To get to Puerta del Sol, take the red metro line (no. 2). When you leave the metro station, head up away from the town hall and pass the statue of the bear leaning against a tree. You will see the Real Madrid shop on your left.

How to See Past Versions Of The Real Madrid Jersey

The stadium at Santiago Bernabéu contains a museum, full of the team´s history. During a tour of the museum you can see many examples of past Real Madrid jerseys. They are all beautifully preserved, and some of them are signed. I’m sure they will evoke some proud memories for many Real Madrid fans!
