The Adler Hotel Madrid is a distinguished hotel. The building dates from the 19th century and has been refurbished inside, but keeps the classical style. The lobby is very elegant. There’s a black and white tiled floor and spotlights all across the ceiling. The atmosphere is upmarket but friendly and welcoming. The design is quite clever as it definitely feels as though the style is 19th century, and yet it still feels modern! The lighting throughout the hotel is very well done. Hotel FacilitiesFacilities at the hotel include a concierge, 24 hour front desk, free parking, laundry and valet services, and there’s a welcoming bar / lounge and a restaurant.
The bar is just off the lobby. It has deep burgundy walls, low level lighting and the black and white floor tiles continue. The effect is that it draws you in, because it looks so cosy. The restaurant has an old fashioned light hanging from the ceiling, that is actually a candle holder. It’s decorated in neutral colours and has a pleasant ambiance. Dishes on the menu when I visited included: Creamy rice with truffles and foie (15.50 euros) and Sole baked in the oven with black olive sauce (25.25 euros). Business FacilitiesThe lounge area can be used for holding small meetings of up to about 10 people. RoomsThere are 45 rooms all with en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, mini bar, free newspaper, room service, safe and cable TV. No-smoking rooms are available too. The rooms are very elegant, and the bathrooms are really impressive. They have free standing baths and are immaculately finished in whites and creams. Hotel Location And Facilities
