When you enter the Gran Atlanta Hotel Madrid you’ll find it spacious and welcoming. There’s an old fashioned feel due to the chandeliers, dark wood walls and richly patterned rugs. The Gran Atlanta Hotel Madrid is in the zone known as AZCA, which is Madrid’s business and financial district. There are many large companies nearby, and the main road of Castellana is within 10 minutes walk. Here also, you’ll come across many of Madrid’s largest companies. Opposite the hotel there are two cafes and a restaurant. If you turn left out of reception and walk for 2 minutes, there’s a small grocers store on the opposite side of the road. There are also 3 estate agents within 1 minute’s walk of the hotel. To get to the centre of Madrid and to the shops, bars and restaurants where tourists commonly go, you have to take the metro for about 15 minutes. How To Get From The Airport To The HotelVia Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 20 minutes and cost 20 to 22 euros (including airport supplement), depending on traffic conditions and assuming there is no excess baggage (that all baggage fits inside the boot and interior of the taxi).
