The Hesperia Hotel Madrid is absolutely gorgeous! From the minute you walk in, you will feel relaxed and at home in the luxurious surroundings. Everything is modern, light and airy. The designer responsible has also worked on some of Madrid’s most stunning buildings including the Royal theatre.
A useful thing to know about this hotel is that is houses the ‘Scotch Bar’ which has a huge selection of whiskies.

The Santceloni restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star just after it opened and its chef has won numerous other gastronomy prizes for his Catalan haute cuisine dishes. The restaurant is in the basement, but is very well designed. There are 2 skylights that give plenty of light and the fixtures and fittings are stylish and modern.
There is also the Manzana restaurant which is entirely decked out in ivory and is really stylish, light and airy. This restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine.
Business Facilities
The Hesperia Hotel Madrid has 6 meeting rooms, the largest of which holds up to 550 people. The hotel provides, photocopying, fax, audio-visual equipment, liquid crystal screens, translation services, secretarial services, transcription service, podiums, hostesses and computers, flip charts and blackboards.
They will also cater for your event. They offer everything from coffee to business meals and cocktail evenings.
If you require office facilities, there is a Business Centre equipped with a fax, photocopier, computers and internet.
Rooms
There are 170 rooms, including 34 suites. The suites have stunning terraces with wooden decking and lots of plants. You feel like you’re in your own private garden. In the suites you also get a gift of flowers and fruit when you arrive.
Every room has: en-suite bathroom, AC and CH, telephone, wi-fi internet, interactive satellite TV, minibar, safe, and a hairdryer.
The rooms seem to glow with light! Everything is cream, ivory and beige and very tastefully done. The effect is heavenly.

The metro is 2 minutes walk away. There are 2 lines from this metro and 1 goes into the city centre where you’ll find hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants.

The road of the Paseo de la Castellana, where the hotel sits, is the main north to south route through the city and it’s home to some of the most important businesses. It’s a wide and busy road, but is lined with trees, and the hotel is set back from it.
Within 5 minutes walk you’ll come to a round-about and there’s a sandwich bar there. The Lazaro Galdiano Museum is within 10 minutes by taxi, and if you follow the Paseo de la Castellana by taxi, after 5 minutes you come to the Paseo del Prado, where the Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums are located.
How To Get From The Airport To The Hotel
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost about 24 euros (including airport supplement), depending on traffic volume, and assuming there’s no excess baggage (that all baggage fits inside the boot and interior of the taxi).
Via Metro: You can take various metro routes directly from the airport to arrive at Gregorio Marañon metro, near the Hesperia Hotel Madrid. Line number 8 leaves from inside the airport between terminals 1 and 2. The quickest route is given below with the stations where you need to change listed:
Metro: Nuevos Ministerios (Pink Line, L8) Then change and head for Gregorio Marañon (Dark Blue Line, L10).
Via Bus: You can take a red EMT public bus from the airport to Avenida America. The number bus that takes this route is the 115. From there it’s faster and easier to change to the metro.
