Review Hotel Atlantico Madrid

Hotel Atlantico Madrid

Reservation Information For The Hotel Atlantico Madrid

The Hotel Atlantico Madrid is a stunning building inspired by 17th and 18th century architectural design. It is easy to spot as it has a French dome on top, that is visible from almost anywhere on Gran Via, the main road where the hotel is located.

The reception area has ornate tapestries hanging from the walls, giving it a stately air. There are a couple of regal looking chairs, a richly patterned rug and attractions in Madrid.

Rooms

There are 80 rooms that each have: AC and CH, minibar, satellite TV, safe, and most have a small balcony and views to Gran Via. The rooms are each decorated differently, but the theme is cosy and familiar with floral patterns on the bed covers and curtains. Each has en-suite bathroom, which is in a modern style.

Being located on Gran Via, you have walking access within 5 minutes of a wide range of tapas bars, restaurants, shops and the best theatres. The popular 'Pans & Co' sandwich and coffee bar is 2 minutes walk away.

Next door to the hotel is a Nike sports store, that has a huge range of sports clothing. You can find a cashpoint within 5 minutes walk in either direction too. If you want to buy a few groceries, then cross the road, walk past Plaza Callao and down the hill (a total of a 5 minute walk) and you'll see the big department store El Corte Ingles.

How To Get From The Airport To The Hotel

Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 35 minutes and cost €22.00 to €25.00 (including airport supplement), if there isn't an excess of traffic, and assuming there is no extra baggage (that all baggage fits inside the boot and interior of the taxi).

Via metroMetro: You can take various metro routes directly from the airport to arrive at Callao metro near the Atlantico Hotel Madrid. Line number 8 leaves from inside the airport between terminals 1 and 2. I've given the quickest route below with the stations where you need to change listed:

metroMetro: Nuevos Ministerios (Pink Line, L8) Then change and head for Alonso Martinez (Dark Blue Line, L10) Then change and head for Callao (Green Line, L5).

Via Bus: You can take a red EMT public bus from the airport to Avenida America. The number bus that takes this route is the 115. From there it's quicker to change to the metro.
