The Hotel Husa Princesa Madrid is unique in that each of its rooms
contains reproductions of works of art from the famous Prado museum.
It’s a large, modern and impressive looking building on the outside.
There are 2 entries, the main one is from a street off Calle Princesa
called Serrano Jover. The second entrance is next to the car park of
the department store El Corte Ingles. The hotel is part of the same
building as El Corte Ingles.
The hotel makes up the larger part of a complex, of which the Husa
Mocloa hotel is part.
Hotel Facilities
The Hotel Husa Princesa Madrid has really great facilities for all
clients. There’s the restaurant Malvasia that serves Mediterranean
dishes, the Global café that is open 24 / 7, a piano bar, a
stunning terrace bar where you can sit amongst palm trees and flowers
and there’s room service.

You’ll also find a laundry service, parking, a gym, indoor heated
pool, a health club and beauty parlour, and the hotel offer massages
too. If you want to go shopping, there’s no need to leave the
premises as you’ll find clothes shops and a Lladro ceramic shop
just off the lobby.
Facilities For The Disabled
There are rooms specially adapted for disabled need in the hotel.
They have wider doors and easy entry showers.
Business Facilities
The Hotel Husa Princesa Madrid has 15 meeting rooms and the maximum
capacity of the largest room is up to 500 guests banquet style, 900
cocktail style, 650 theatre style, 320 schoolroom style, 100 U-shape
style and 110 boardroom style.
They offer secretarial services, simultaneous translation, hostesses,
a stenographer, a reception area and will cater for coffee breaks,
business meals, working lunches and cocktail evenings. It is also possible
to hire sound and video equipment. Amongst the facilities available
are projectors, podiums, screens, a sound system and computers.
There’s also a fully equipped business centre just off the lobby
that guests can use if they need an office space to work out of.

There are 263 rooms, plus 6 executive suites, 5 leisure suites,1 presidential
suite,2 club floors, and there are non-smoking floors.
As well as each room having famous works of art on the walls, each
has: en-suite bathroom, living room, desk , soundproofing, AC, 3 telephones,
internet connection, voicemail, satellite TV with CNN, movies, radio
and internal music channel, minibar, safe, hairdryer and an unusual
feature are the glass walls that add a really modern touch.
The Club Floors are more exclusive yet and you get more facilities
including a pillow menu, steward service, complimentary coffee and
pastries in the morning and canapés and soft drinks in the afternoon,
free newspapers, shoeshine service, express check-in / out, free late
check-out.

The Hotel Husa Princesa Madrid is on the corner between the main road
of Calle Princesa and the smaller Serrano Jover street. Both roads
are lined with trees and have plenty of facilities such as banks within
a minutes walk.
Opposite the main entrance of the hotel there’s a seafood restaurant,
and 20 metres up the road is the well-know ‘Chesterfield Café’ which
is a popular meeting place for all nationalities and has an outdoor
terrace. At the end of Jover street, about 1 minute walk away, there
are several clothes shops.
In just 10 – 15 minutes you can walk to the Plaza de España
where you’ll find cinemas playing English language films, numerous
bars and the start of Gran Via road that is lined with shops, bars,
restaurants and theatres.
How To Get From The Airport To The Hotel
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 30 minutes and
cost about 22 to 25 euros (including airport supplement), depending
on how much traffic there is, and assuming there’s not too much baggage
(that all baggage fits inside the boot and interior of the taxi).
Via Metro: You can take various metro routes directly from the airport
to arrive at Arguelles metro near the Hotel Husa Princesa Madrid. Line
number 8 leaves from inside the airport between terminals 1 and 2.
The quickest route is given below with the stations where you need
to change listed:
Metro: Mar de Cristal (Pink
Line, L8) Then change and head for Arguelles
(Brown Line, L4).
Via Bus: You can take a red EMT public bus from the airport to Avenida
America. The number bus that takes this route is the 115. From there
it’s quicker to change to the metro.
