| Reservation Information For The Hotel Madrid Melia Galgos |
There are several Melia Hotels in Madrid. Melia are a well-known chain that have both 4 and 5 star hotels throughout the city. We've reviewed the Galgos to give you an idea of what to expect in all Melia hotels.
The first thing that hits you about the Melia Galgos when you walk inside, is how shiny it is! There are mirrored surfaces everywhere. I found it to have a serene and businesslike atmosphere. Straight in front of you when you enter, you'll see a cosy bar and several seating areas. It also has a unique feature in the form of a 'Royal Service' floor where guests are treated to extra services.

Hotel Location And Facilities
The metro is only 5 minutes from the Hotel Madrid Melia Galgos, and it's a pleasant walk through tree-lined streets. The hotel is in the barrio (district) of Salamanca, on the East side of Madrid centre. This is one of the most upmarket areas and the famed Calle Serrano street with its numerous boutiques is just 10 minutes walk away. As a whole the Barrio Salamanca is residential, but there are also a lot of important companies based there.

How To Get From The Airport To The Hotel
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 20 minutes and cost around €19.50 (including airport supplement), if there isn't an excess of traffic, and assuming there is no extra baggage (that all baggage fits inside the boot and interior of the taxi).
Via
Metro: You can take various metro routes directly from the airport to arrive at Nuñez de Balboa metro near the Hotel Madrid Melia Galgos. Line number 8 leaves from inside the airport between terminals 1 and 2. I've given the quickest route below with the stations where you need to change listed:
