The Hotel Orense Madrid is in the centre of an area known as Azca, which is the centre of Madrid's financial district. Here you'll see skyscrapers, and you're also just 5 minutes drive from Chamartin Train Station, and the station of Nuevos Ministerios. For some flights you can check in your luggage at Nuevos Ministerios, and the metro goes straight to the airport from there.
In the immediate area you'll find a bank and photo shop opposite, and 70 metres a branch of the 24 hour supermarket, Open Cor. There's a post box over the road, and 1 minute round the corner on Avenida Brasil there's an Irish bar and an American diner.
If you're a football fan, the Real Madrid stadium is 6 minutes walk away.
How To Get From The Airport To The Hotel
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 20 minutes and cost about €22.00 (including airport supplement), depending on much traffic there is, and assuming you haven't got extra baggage (that all baggage fits inside the boot and interior of the taxi).
Via 
Metro: You can take various metro routes directly from the airport to arrive at Santiago Bernabeu metro near the Hotel Orense Madrid. Line number 8 leaves from inside the airport between terminals 1 and 2. The quickest route is given below with the stations where you need to change listed:
Metro: Nuevos Ministerios (Pink Line, L8) Then change and head for Santiago Bernabeu (Dark Blue Line, L10)
Via Bus: There isn't a direct bus from the airport to the Hotel Orense. It's quicker to take the metro.
