You’ll find several Tryp Hotels in Madrid of both 3 and 4 stars. We visited one of the most central Tryp Hotels in Madrid: the Tryp Cibeles Hotel. This is a 4 star hotel, just off the central through road of Gran Via. The hotel is in a beautiful old and elegant building, in a classical style. It’s one of the most attractive buildings you can see on Gran Via.

In the lift there’s a weather forecast pinned to the wall. Just off there is a sumptuous lounge with a high glass ceiling and a small bar. The lounge is really comfortable and is decorated in earthy African browns, golds and yellows. There are green plants and majestic pillars and a central chandelier. It’s grand, but contemporary, and there’s piped jazzy music.
