One of the most visited attractions in El Escorial is the monastery, or 'Monastario'. It has been crowned as the eighth wonder of the world and has some wonderfully preserved renaissance architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries.
To get to San Lorenzo de El Escorial by suburban bus, you can take either 661, or 664 from the Moncloa station interchange. To reach Moncloa from the airport.
