At first glance the area where the hotel is appears quite industrial, but there are some facilities nearby. Walking 2 minutes up the road keeping Atocha station on your right, will bring you nearer to Delicias metro. Before you get there you'll come across 2 little café bars that serve tapas.
Next door to the hotel is a cosy and authentic Spanish restaurant, and there's a bar and pizzeria 20 metres down the road. Keep walking and turn right onto Calle Bustamante and after 5 minutes you'll come to a beauty salon and a newsagents. There are also 3 restaurants on this road.
A 10 minutes walk will bring you out next to the main entry of Atocha station, and opposite here is the Reina Sofia museum. It's a further 10 minutes to walk either to the centre of Madrid or to the Prado museum.
Booking your airport transport online in advance of your trip enables you to travel from Madrid-Barajas airport directly to the door of your hotel.
The online booked transfers listed below are not public transport operated services - which means they continue to run even if there is a public transport strike.
If you don't speak Spanish, and you are unfamiliar with Madrid, arranging your transport in advance will give you peace of mind and save you the trouble of working out the route yourself. You can either book a private transfer or a shared transfer.
Private transfer (online booking only)
A private transfer means that the vehicle that you have will be dedicated for you and your party only. The driver will be waiting for you at your arrivals gate with a sign with your name on it. Your driver will assist you with your luggage and take you to a private air conditioned vehicle to take you directly to your hotel. We have provided a booking link below.
Minibus transfer (online booking only)
A minibus option is cheaper than the private transfer and the vehicle is shared amongst other travellers. Unlike a private transfer the driver will not be waiting for you at the arrivals gate you would need to make your way to a meeting point.
Follow the link below to book either your private transfer or minibus transfer online.
